Why are ankle weights good for pilates?

It's important to note, however, that not all Pilates exercises are suitable for ankle weights. Will they fit around my wrists?

Absolutely. We often have ladies ask this question, which is why we designed them with an extra long velcro strap making them fit to a wide range of wrists & ankles. This also means you can tighten them as much as you need, when you need. Most people enjoy having a snug fit but they really are a one-size-fits all!

Is it good to walk with ankle weights?

Yes, walking with ankle weights can be a great way to increase the intensity of your workout and add resistance to your lower body. However, it's important to choose the right weight for your fitness level and to start slowly, gradually increasing the weight and duration of your workouts over time. We personally LOVE our 1LB pair for walks & change between using on Ankles or Wrists. You can find our favourite colours here.

Is it 1LB/2LB each or combined?

Great Question! The weight noted on the title of the product is the total combined weight. So for our 2LB pair, it's 1LB per weight, and for the 1LB pair, it's 0.5LB per weight. Each product comes in a set.


Is 2LB ankle weight PAIR good?

Yes, a 2-pound ankle weight pair is a really great option for pilates (and trust us it doesn't sound much but it's definitely deceiving)!  This weight will provide enough resistance to help tone and strengthen your muscles, without putting too much strain on your joints.

What are Power Bracelets?

Power Bracelets are our own unique name for Ankle Weights! This is because we feel so powerful when putting them on and they strap on like a bracelet. ES FIT offers two options for their Power Bracelets: the regular set, which weighs around 1LB combined, and the XL set, which weighs around 2LB combined. The best option for you will depend on your fitness level and the types of exercises you plan to do. The smaller set is recommended for those who will use them more regularly for pilates, barre, and walking, while the XL set is better for those engaging in more resistance and strength training.

How do I use Power Bracelets?

Power Bracelets are easy to use, with a velcro strap that easily fits around your ankles or wrists. You can use them just like any other hand-held weights, seamlessly integrating them into all workout styles.

Can I clean them?

Yes! It's easy to clean your Power Bracelets with an antiseptic wipe for the silicon panels. Simply wipe on both sides and they'll be ready to use for your next workout.
